Leftism is Lie Upon Lie
Leftism is based on falsehood and aims at falsehood. Instead of believing in God, they believe in Man. Instead of believing in Original Sin, they believe all evil is caused by imperfect human customs and laws such that the elimination of customs and laws will restore mankind to the natural perfection of Eden.
For example, Marxism blames private property for all human ills, Feminism blames marriage, Critical Race Theory blames nationalism, Transgender Theory blames sexual dimorphism, etc.
Hence, Leftists hold that Utopia will result upon the elimination of private property, of nations, of marriage, and of sexual dimorphism (which gender theory holds to be an social institution, a convention, not a biological fact).
Naturally, all these theories are known to be false, and obviously, blatantly, insolently so.
To notice or to comment on the falsehood which all folk know and see is the prime sin of the Leftist cult-thinking, and unforgiveable. Forcing a man to utter a falsehood he and all his hearers know is false is meant as ritual humiliation, to render him pliant.
Reality is humbling in the opposite way, rendering a man free of pride, bigotry, narrow-mindedness. Let us ponder reality.
First, in reality, private property exists because fathers have a duty to feed their family, hence a hunter must own the game he bags, the shepherd the flock he herds, the farmer the crops he grows, the tradesman the goods he makes, the laborer his service he bestows for a wage: and each be at liberty to trade the one for the other.
Civilization cannot prosper without private property, nor can nomads nor hunter-gatherers, because the scarcity of natural resources when compared to human needs and desires is a law of reality. Absent private property, the weak are enslaved or plundered by the strong, and men have no incentive to plan for the future.
Second, in reality, marriage exists because fathers have a duty to protect their family, hence his mate must be faithful, lest he raise another man’s bastard, or foist his bastard off on another man. He must be faithful, lest his repay love with treason. Polygamy is better, perhaps, than anarchy, but incentivizes hatred between wives and half-brothers, whom must compete for finite fatherly protection and resources.
Third, in reality, sexual roles exist to aid fathers in fathering and feeding and protecting families. In reality, sexual dimorphism not only between the physiognomy of male and female, but the psychology as well. From these natural differences spring cultural differences, that is, the distinct roles the two sexes are expected to play in the laws and customs of a culture.
What part of cultural roles for woman is innate to the tyranny nature, and what part springs from the wisdom of custom and tradition, or the accidents of history, is a debate of only academic interest.
For now, it is enough to say that, in the same way different nations have different languages, but no human tribe lives without language, different nations may have different social roles for women (either Christian ideals or barbaric concubinage) but no human tribe can exist without distinctive signs and roles, reflected in dress and conduct, controlling the modesty of maidens and the honor of matrons. Attempts to do away with such things results in vulgarity, unchastity, concubinage, bastardy, anarchy.
In the practical debate about social roles for women, the current misery of womanhood, as reflected in the rates of suicide, addiction, divorce, self-mutilation, and self-abuse speak for themselves, as does the shocking drop in population rates. Happy people do not sterilize themselves into extinction. Happy people do not castrate their sons and mutilate the sexual organs their daughters.
In the practical debate about social roles for women, the role of baby-mamas dependent on government welfare, sons raised without fathers, and the loss of all social norms governing courtship have rendered modern society loveless and pornographic, a condition as degrading as any antique sexual slavery or polygamy Christian civilization once abolished.
Moreover, the alleged freedom promised by feminist gender theory, which says social roles for women are arbitrary, and may be adopted at will by men, increases the suicide rate tenfold, and is clearly a fetish, a perversion, or a mental illness.
Happy people do not kill their children. The mountains of slain unborn puts the Aztec and Carthaginian to shame.
Fourth and finally, in reality, nations exist because fathers have a duty to protect their families, and it is better and safer to do so with one’s brothers, uncles, and cousins unified under the leadership of a grandfather than each man alone. Clans are groups of families, tribes are groups of clans, and nations are groups of tribes who share a common language, culture, and religion.
Empires begin when nation conquers nation and the vanquished pay tribute and vow fealty rather than face extermination, or when nation combines with nation, through covenant, concord, or royal marriage, to provide for a common defense and domestic tranquility. Hence, family loyalty extends from the local leadership of village, town, or parish to the national or imperial sovereign, because even a man of a conquered nation is duty bound to respect and obey his conqueror, rather than risk anarchy. This national loyalty is called patriotism.
The sovereign of a realm or republic is bound by the same law which binds his subjects or citizens, so there may be certain very limited exceptions to the duty of patriotism that justify mutiny.
Modern political theory is obsessed with these rare exceptions, which are exploited and expanded to excuse every enormity from the Terror of 1789 to the terrorist attacks of yesterday, so they need not be repeated by me. Thomas Jefferson or Thomas Aquinas give the secular and the Christian account of where and when the duty of obedience to sovereigns may be abrogated: read them.
The Christian faith teaches that one heavenly father is the creator and sovereign of all mankind, all of whom, despite their visible differences of prestige, achievement, virtue and beauty, are invisibly equal and fraternal: there is for the Christian a Brotherhood of Man to which the duty to seek peace between enemy nations applies. This duty is in addition to the duty of family loyalty, national patriotism, and civic obedience to the powers that be.
Revolutionaries in the modern day always use the Brotherhood of Man and the need to overthrow some alleged inequity or systemic oppression innate in civilization to break the bonds of kinship and patriotism, and justify any defamation, civic disobedience, felony or mutiny or act of terrorism against the innocent, But one duty cannot be used to excuse the other. The Brotherhood of Man does not excuse disobedience to to the prince or parliament who rules the realm, nor dishonor to father and mother.
The unique and eternally shameful legacy of Darwin poisoned modern thought by introducing the idea into political discourse that certain tribes and nations of man were more fit to survive than others, more fit to rule, and that the competition between the nations was an irreconcilable war of extermination without pause nor quarter.
Certain nations or groups of nations were decreed arbitrarily to form races, and which other nations were considered to be in competition with them was equally arbitrary: the most notorious example was the national socialists of Germany declaring the Jews, who are a nation that, for most of history, lacked a homeland, to be the enemies of the German folk or Reich.
Likewise, during the Protestant Era, slavery, which was otherwise incompatible with the brotherhood of man preached by the Catholic Church, was justified by the inferiority of various tribes and nations conquered by Negro empires in Africa, who sold their kidnapped slaves in bulk to Arabs, and some also to Europeans, to toil in mines and plantations overseas. This was all, after Darwin, retroactively justified on the basis of race.
Once Christendom lost its faith, and the Church was crippled and weakened by Protestants of the Sixteenth, the Freethinkers of the Eighteenth, and the Revolutionaries of the Nineteenth Centuries, Christian men ceased to regard themselves as Christian, but called themselves ‘White’ — as if the several nations of Europe and the Near East were somehow a distinct national group of related tribes sharing a culture and language making a single empire.
In this scheme, the White Empire, having conquered and exploited the Black, Red, and Yellow Empires with colonies in Africa, the Americas and the Far East, were guilty of betraying the duties owed to the Brotherhood of Man to seek universal peace between clashing nations and empire.
This treason is called Colonialism, but the benefits of Christian civilization brought to these savage and backward lands do not ameliorate nor mitigate this treason: the only possible mitigation, according to Critical Race Theory, is the elimination of Whiteness.
To be sure, no Freethinker, secularist or radical uses the term White Empire, as it would be inconvenient and expose at once the absurdity of the conceit: Like those feverish Jew-haters who see the Jewish race is being controlled by a single, central but secret sovereign who directs all their actions to the betterment of his race at the expense of the German Folk (or whoever), the Critical Race Theory require the White Empire to be controlled, if not by a literal prince or parliament directing its actions, then by a spirit or psychology that mysteriously always acts in concert to benefit the White race at the expense of the Poor Southern Negro (or whoever).
Instead of speaking of the White Empire, their rhetoric refers to “Whiteness” which is their terms for the spirit or archangel guiding all the races of Europe.
Whiteness is a mystical word-fetish that means anything and everything as the rhetorical need requires. Those laws and customs alleged to be innate to the White Empire, things such as punctuality and rationality, the use of calendars and mathematics, as well as (of course) the institutions of private property and marriage and sexual dimorphism, are denounced, as opportunity presents itself, as uniquely systematically oppressive laws and customs imposed on the innocent by the White Empire.
Membership in the White Empire also shifts and changes with dreamlike illogical as the rhetorical need requires. Often, the White race includes Saxons, Celts, Normans, Teutons, Basque, Italians, Helenes, Ionians, Persians, Elamites, Slavs, and Scythian peoples, Turk, Semitic, Lebanese, Coptic, and Libyan, but, when the need requires, excludes or includes the Spanish and Portuguese, and the Jews.
Some would include the Moors and Berbers and Arabs as White, but usually these are excluded from racial grouping on the grounds of religion: Christian nations and tribes conquered in the Seventh Century are regarded members of the Muslim race, which, in this scheme, is a race, not an religion. The Zoroastrians of Persia, the people literally living in the shadow of the Caucasus mountains, are not regarded as Caucasian, but Scots living in the highlands are.
In practice, the only laws and customs of the White Empire held in contempt, and targeted for destruction, are the laws and customs of Christendom in general, and the Catholic Church in particular.
The Catholic Church teaches, and has always taught, that there is a Brotherhood of Man, but also that there is a duty of patriotic loyalty to one’s prince or parliament, baron or governor or mayor, whether elected or appointed. The idea that only elected leaders, acting in conformity with the will of the people are legitimate, is not incompatible with this duty, but is not necessitated by it either. Since the time of Christ, we have taught that one must render to Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s. The will of God is of more concern to us than the will of the people.
The Catholic Church teaches, and has always taught, that all baptized Christians owe a duty of loyalty to the Church and to Christ is paramount and overrides all other loyalties of patriotism, nation, or obedience to law, but only when in conflict: as when a sovereign demands divine honors be paid to him as if to a god, for example. Martyrdom, not rebellion, is the proper response in such cases, but only if heaven so wills.
Race-baiters born of Critical Race Theory, to the contrary, hold that race loyalty is paramount and overrides all other loyalties of patriotism, nation, or obedience to law, and justifies their breach in any cases or all cases. Getting good grades in school is ‘acting white’, for example, so even the relatively minor civic duty to attend school and learn what needed to be a good citizen is open to abrogation.
Race-baiters likewise convince unwary members of the White Empire to make amends for alleged violations of the duty to the Brotherhood of Man by granting certain groups of people special voting districts gerrymandered to favor blacks, and to impose race-quotas on hiring by private businesses, in government contracting, in the content of entertainment, and in college admissions.
Race-baiters never admit, however, any duty of the Negro race toward the Brotherhood of Man, nor admit that such a breech of duty is even imaginable: Policemen using force against a drug-maddened and violent career criminal, if the criminal is a Negro, is racist, regardless of the race of the policeman: whereas White farmers from South Africa being plundered and murdered and forced into exile due solely to the Whiteness is not racist.
Likewise, in Great Britain, for example, as a matter of law, illegal alien Muslim men may force themselves on white schoolgirls with impunity, since to enforce the Christian law that sex must be consensual and restricted to adult married couples is whiteness and colonialism.
For the Race-baiter, there is no Brotherhood of Man. Negros cannot be brothers to Whites, nor to any race, all of whom are irreconcilable enemies. Indeed, ambushing and beating innocent Jewish bystanders or looting the shops of Korean grocers is something of a sport among young, inner city Afro-Americans. Such is the tragic but hardly unexpected effect of applying Darwinism to political philosophy.
The Race-Baiters, in sum, are Black Supremacists just in the same way, using the same rhetoric and terror tactics, as the White Supremacists or fascists who once flourished among the National Socialists German Worker’s Party, aka the Nazis.
The so-called Black race they purport to support, and whose victory over all other races, is no an iota less imaginary than the so-called Aryan race of the Nazis. In reality, there is not and never was a race of Germanic tribesmen living in Northern India, descended from the imaginary Atlantis root-races of the crackpot mysticism called Theosophy. The Negro in America, thanks to the tragic legacy of slavery, had most or all of their native customs, language, and tribal religions eliminated. Perhaps some few elements of Voodoo in the Caribbean retain traces of African origin.
The distinctive racial features of the various tribes and nations of Sixteenth and Nineteenth Century Africa have been amalgamated through intermarriage. Mulattos in Appalachia have no claim to African heritage: they are not Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Amazigh, Oromo, Amhara, Fulani, Akan, Somali nor Hutu. Indeed, Appalachians of any skin color have more traditions and customs in common with the Scottish colonist of the Seventeenth Century, their sloth, drunkenness, and violence, than they do with anyone from Nubia, Ethiopia, or Azania.
The Race-Baiter in America, however, has no fascists to oppose. The oppression and victimhood status he so desperately craves has little or no basis in reality. So the Race-Baiter must both invent imaginary race-membership (as when Kamala Harris pretends to be an Afro-American, or Elizabeth Warren to be an American Indian) and invent the threat of an imaginary oppressor (as when Jussie Smollett hires two Nigerians to mug him, or as when the Southern Poverty Law Center funds and provides leaders to Neo-Nazis and KKK groups, and organizes race riots.)
Indeed, judging from the harassment, indignities, terror bombings, and assassinations carried out against Jews in American by Leftwing Race-Baiters voicing support for Palestine, the only group supporting a fascist and racist agenda are the Race-baiters.
Now, it may seem odd that, after writing all these words about the imaginary nature of Critical Race Theory, that we now identify the enemy of the Race-Baiters not as White Supremacists, whom they say is their enemy, but nationalism, patriotism, and family loyalty. But please note the unity of purpose between the allegedly cosmopolitan and international organizations of the Globalists and the racial divisions promoted by Critical Race Theory.
The target is the family loyalties, fatherhood, which give rise to clan and community and nation. In the modern day, with immigration encouraged by international trade, it seems natural for men of foreign descent to live in common brotherhood with citizens of a commonwealth whose sole requirement is dedication to the proposition that all men are created equal. In the modern day, it is commonplace to hear that any Somali entering England becomes an Englishman, or any Muslim moving to Japan is Japanese.
As when an orphan is adopted by a family and becomes a member of that family both in love and in law, such adoptions have legitimacy because they follow the nature of family life: the father becomes the legal father of the foundling, and woe to him if he treats his naturally born children with special favoritism.
Likewise for those nations large and cosmopolitan enough to tolerate the stress and tumult men of different nations immigrating within their borders. The newcomers have a duty, which springs directly from their fatherly duties to provide for their families, to adopt the language, dress, and customs of the host nation, and to respect and uphold the dictates of their religion. The homeless Jew who enters a commonwealth and then demands prayer be removed from public schooling has betrayed the hospitality of his host, and the loyal children of hell will see the opportunity to provoke enmity between Jew and Gentile. The newcomer has a duty to transfer his love and patriotism to the new nation offering him a homeland.
But, as with any foster father, the sovereign of the host nation has a duty to love the newcomer as his own child, and protect the sojourner as the guest of his home.
In the strange and perhaps unique character of America, slaves brought unwillingly into the home, once manumitted, have no native home to which to return. They are unwilling immigrants. Nonetheless, they must be treated and honored as sons, and the resentments between the natural sons and the adopted ameliorated by the mutual goodwill of their shared patriotism. The laws must be equal and show no favoritism.
Critical Race Theory promotes favoritism that destroys patriotism. Instead of a common love for the land that feeds and protect them, Race-Baiters invent imaginary grievances to destroy that love, provoke race riots, and spread the idea that a lack of favoritism toward their race is the same as oppression of the race.
Patriotism, in other words, is the mere opposite of favoritism.
Racism, as was promoted by the Democrat Party during the Civil War under the dubious rubric of State’s Rights, promoted by their Jim Crowe laws, and their continual and studied opposition to civil rights, voting rights and all outward signs of equality between the races, can be cured, if at all, by treating racial loyalty as any other local loyalty is treated, as when families are also loyal to counties and parishes, which are loyal to states, which are loyal to the federal government. In each case patriotism, the love of the nation and its laws, and the devotion to her ideals and spirit, is the sole answer to ameliorating local enmities.
In these four areas, abolishing private property does not restore the prosperity of Eden, where gardens grew without toil or sweat, but instead brings poverty, starvation, and famine. See the Holodomor or the famine in China under Mao.
Abolishing marriage produces a sexual anarchy and demeans and insults women, reducing the fairer sex to childless loneliness or wretched dependence on welfare or both, and making women the enemy of womanhood. Boys, deprived of fathers, are raised as monsters. The result is a rise in sexually transmitted disease, and other social ills to plague the land.
Abolishing sex itself adds insanity to the wretchedness of women, eliminating womanhood itself, and normalizes fetishism and perversion in its stead. It is an insanity that worships sterility and death. The number of transgender suicides and school shooters and assassins should give any honest man pause.
Abolishing nationhood provokes not universal harmony, but bigotry and tribalism, racialism and race supremacy, and so provokes race riots leading to full scale race wars, ethnic cleansing, genocide.
In these four areas, the Left releases the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Pestilence, Famine, War, and Death.
In all things, Leftism blames the doctor for the disease, the policeman for the crime rate, and the gardener for the weeds. Because Leftism reverses the evils and the cures that lessen those evils, Leftism encourages the very evils it purports to solve. As the evil grows, the Leftist redoubles his efforts, making things worse. Leftism is counterproductive.
Because Leftism is counterproductive, no one can be allowed to compare past and present, rely on reason, see common sense, speak openly, or act freely, because all honest men will abandon Leftism the moment its counterproductive nature is seen.
Hence Leftism, everywhere and always, always, always, revises the past, falsifies the present, calls reason thoughtcrime, wraps nonsense and alarmism in the mantle of inviolate science and in the corona of expert prestige. Leftism, everywhere and always, always, always, mocks and hates the common sense of the common man, censors speech, destroys liberty.
And even as it does all these things, Leftism claims to be the champions of scholarship, rationality, futurity, of the poor and downtrodden, to give tongue to the silent, and freedom to the imprisoned. And they accuse the true champion of all these things, the Church, of being the enemy of all these things, and all mankind.
Patriotism is the local cure for the enmity caused by racism and race loyalty, not the promoter of racism, and the global cure is the loyalty to the Brotherhood of Man, that is, ecumenicalism, as proposed and promoted by the Christian faith in general, and the Catholic Church in particular.
War and rumor of war will be with us until the end of days, but faithful obedience to the laws of nations, the submission of princes and parliaments to the authority in spiritual matters to the Church, and the earnest enforcement of the customs of honor which define the laws and usages of war and needful to ameliorate, insofar as possible, the Mark of Cain, which is the banner of every battle, for war is always brother killing brother.
Strict laws and virtuous customs promoting the romance of love, the sanctity of marriage, and the holy vocation of family life is needed to cure the perversion, sexual anarchy, bastardy, venereal disease, and misery unleashed by the self-indulgent madness of the Sexual Revolution, the witchcraft of the suffragettes, and the heresy of Henry VIII. Contraception, Sodomy, and Divorce are against natural reason and divine law. This need for monogamy is not due to hatred or harshness against those with disordered sexual appetites or who seek freedom from unhappy homelife, but to the duty of fathers to provide for their families and protect them. Only chastity and modesty allow for love and romance to flourish.
That wives are subject to their husbands is the Curse of Eve, as are the labors and travails of childbirth. Womanhood is incurable. Attempt to make women into men only makes woman into witches, lesbians, and lamia, and partisans of prenatal infanticide. Love requires we do what is needful to ameliorate this curse, to honor the purity of maidens and laud the fertility of matrons. God commands mankind to increase and multiply; the Enemy bids the opposite.
Private property and impartial law protecting the diligent labor of hunter, herdsman, husbandman and craftsman is the cure for the scarcity and poverty that is the nature lot of mankind.
There will be poor while the world lasts, for this world falls under the Curse of Adam to till the soil from which we come, and to eat his bread in the sweat of his face. It is incurable. While we await in joyful hope for that coming of the Day of the Lord, however, love requires we do what is needful to ameliorate the severity of that curse, and spread the prosperity only private property provides.
